Reports are coming in that video watching/viewing is up more on smart phones than it is on tables, meaning that people are watching more videos on their phones rather than their tablets. Reports also say that Facebook has made grounds on YouTube in the amount of people watching via their smart phone. No doubt this is in large part due to the video platform Facebook employs on their “wall.”

Which got me thinking about advertising and marketing…much of our money is spent on Facebook (if it’s not, you really want to because this is where the majority of people spend their time. We may have an advertising arm on Facebook, but if it does not include video, than we are really missing out on a good means of advertising to people.

With Facebook’s instant video play in the timeline or “wall,” your videos are sure to get play time before the eyes of potential customers. In many ways, this is all that it takes to build clientele and drive business. The more you get your brand before the eyes of viewers on Facebook the more likely you are to get that coveted “like” and “share.”

So if you are not using Facebook as a medium for your advertising, you are going to need to start…the smart phone platform is here to stay. It’s only going to grow. You now need to decide whether you’re going to grow with it.
