Generating sales leads is what it’s all about. I mean, at the end of the day that’s what we are trying to accomplish with our marketing. We want to draw the people in and give them, or rather, show them what they need and how we can supply it. That should be your aim and goal in all of marketing. But how do you do that?
For one thing, you need to first know your audience inside and out. If you don’t know your audience, then you’re not going to know how to speak to them and convey to them the important elements of your product. Now here’s another key point. Let’s not just know what language to speak, but we need to know where to speak it. We need to know where our audience is at and how to reach them. It doesn’t matter if you have the best product in the world and the best message to go along with that product. If you’re not in the right room for people to hear that message, than it’s all for nothing.
So what we need to do is learn the right “rooms” that are people are in so they hear our message. What “rooms” are we talking about? Well, with the proliferation of Facebook and Twitter we need to understand where our audience is so our product will reach their ears. In other words, you need to learn how to leverage Facebook and Twitter and get your product to the right ears in the right places.
