Twitter just added a “buy” button to its platform, allowing users to now be able to make purchases through the app itself. According to research commissioned by Twitter, 75% of its users have made an online purchase in the past month, as opposed to 67% of the general internet user.
What does this tell us? Twitter followers are more likely to make a purchase online than any other type of user. What are you going to do about this?
If your answer was start advertising and pushing on Twitter, than you are in fact reading this story correctly. Don’t make the mistake of thinking that there’s no market there because of the type of platform it is.
On the contrary, according to this report it is the exact opposite. So get those tweets rolling and start pushing those promoted advertisements via the app. People are looking and watching. They will find you soon enough.
